I just put up a giant-ass survey that took me FOREVER to fill out in the rantings page. PLEASE PLEASE go read it...or part of it. I finally got around to putting my blog link on my links page and I stuck a pic of moi on the rantings page...yay. Hey all! Okay, I made a blog, and my day-to-day rambles will be posted there. I will still do ramblings on this site every once in a while, but they will be "big-picture" rants, when I have something important to say, or philosophical or whatnot. I don't think I'll write one today, but it will be soon, I guarantee. I will put my blog on my links page.Hello!!! I am now in Memphis, Tennessee as a COLLEGE GIRL!!! *GASP* Don't worry, I'm still the same little old me...complete with antisocial tendencies and cravings to be alone and whatnot. Not doing too bad overall. FInding people to "connect" with, as it were. Beautiful campus, etc. Read the ramble for more! IT'S TIDUS!! *fangirl scream* He is the somewhat dense protagonist of Final Fantasy X, but we love him anyway...From Unofficial FFX Page, the link's on the image, people...go now! Even though this new format moves this caption to the WRONG SPOT, it still needs to be here, no? I don't think anyone even remembers my potential anime page. It has disappeared into oblivion. Mah. Well I got the idea for a ramble page from a much better page by Chris *waves* . I usually update it once a month or so. Probably useless prattle, but it gets it off my mind for a few moments...I'd say it's worth it--I've got enough crammed in there as it is! Please disregard the pessimistic and dark tendencies... what's the use in making a light ramble? Voila!

My Life in a Nutshell (how did I get into this nutshell?)
I go to high school. I wake up, go to school, go to play practice, eat dinner, do my homework, and sleep. It is a sad and solitary existence... no wait, that's the life of a rodeo clown. Never mind. I'm sarcastic and like British humor. Um, I like anime an' stuff like that a lot. And Space Ghost/Brak Show. Yes. I know. I'm demented. I am also a large fan of the Final Fantasy series. Go Nubuo Uematsu! I'm also a proud member of ANSA. If you REALLY want to know, go ahead and email me, silly person. I left my old one up because that one is accurate during the school year. This is my SUMMER agenda! Woohoo! I wake up, preferably nice and late. Then I eat. Then I watch TV, play FFX, or waste time on the computer. Then I eat again, and watch Daria at 12:00. Then I might go to bed... and sleep for at least 9 hrs. I might contact my friends...oh...anywhere from 0-5 times a week, so as to keep up my hermit status. I will do my summer reading in there somewhere. Then I will get dragged back into the building I dread so much. And this time, in uniforms! *frightening screech of misery* And NO, I do NOT look cute in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform! *pout* Fall update! I STILL don't look cute in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform *double pout* and I've been confined to my own home until I finish my apps. Stupid future, taking up my valuable senior time! Raar! Consuming inhuman amounts of caffeine, and being overall irritable/ cranky. Oh well. What else? Read the rantings if you must know...and there will be more, mind you! Amazingly enough, I survived the first semester!! WHOA! It was a close call, but hey, I'm special. But now, I have the economics project, the English research paper, and the musical (Guys and Dolls). Yes, Laura has a death wish. Already. I only have rehearsal about once a week now, but in about three weeks, I'll be at school for an insane amount of hours a day and I'll be CRANKY. But that's okay. My friends will just have to excuse my behavior, because, if they don't, I will be forced to take violent action. I have the paper due on my birthday, sandwiched in the middle of two shows. SIGH. I AM NO LONGER IN HIGH SCHOOL!! *wild cheers of unbridled joy* However, now I am in a very different sort of prison--the hellhole that is Eckerd Drug Store #3511--my "summer job." I deal with lots of old people buying mixed nuts and Depends (often at the same time). I also deal with crazy women who have a fit if something rings up one cent higher than marked, or if a coupon doesn't work because they bought the wrong brand, etc. I've learned to hate people even more than usual, yay for me! I'm off to Memphis in about a month and a half, maybe a little more. Scary!! :( Well, I just got to Rhodes College, and I start classes tomorrow! The lineup is this: American Film: History and Criticism (hoping it won't be extremely difficult), East Asia in the Modern World (pumped about this one), Search for Values in the Light of Western History and Religion (go Search,..even though we have more homework), and Topics: Psychology of American Pluralism. Sounds fun, ne? ^_^ I'm hoping I made Rhodes Singers (I'll know by 5 today) so I'll have something to do. The campus is beautiful, my room/suitemates are great, and I think I will enjoy it. We'll see what I say in a few weeks...and a few papers. :(
WORLD WITHOUT END ROCKS MY WORLD!!!! (read: shameless plug for my brother's band)
Just thought I'd let you know that my brother and his fellow band members (Russell Kabir, Nick Richardson, and Mark Fuller) make up the band World Without End (not a Christian band...although their name seems to infer that). They are a punk band, and have gotten some gigs. THEY ARE AWESOME AND SHOULD RULE THE WORLD! BEFORE IT ENDS! Or something. Their website is this! Their page is on my Links page--GO NOW!
